Warranty disclaimer & refund/return policy
Consumer warranty:
We will accept returns or exchanges at our expense if for any reason the product is faulty or not working properly when received (all items are tested before shipping to minimise any faults). If the product fails within 6 months of the purchase date due to being faulty, we will replace or repair the product, you may be required to cover shipping costs.
Warranty does not cover incorrect wiring causing switches to short out or too heavy of a load ran through the them which causes the contacts to stick together and button to not function properly. Please read and understand the wiring diagrams or get in contact with us via email if you are unsure about wiring.
Warranty also does not cover product blemishes caused by harsh environments such as salt water and possible UV damage.
Refund & Returns Policy
All products sold by Billet Automotive Buttons are custom made to order. Because each item is manufactured specifically for you, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
EU Customers — Right of Withdrawal
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, under Article 16(c), this right does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalised. As all our products are custom made to order, this exemption applies and no right of withdrawal exists for these purchases.
All Customers
You can ask for a refund if you change your mind if we have not yet started on your order.
Please just keep in mind a refund is not guaranteed because of this. We will only be able to refund the amount of money we receive, we loose 3% on card payment refunds and roughly 3.5% on PayPal refunds. So all orders needing to be refunded due to change of mind will have this subtracted from the refund.
Faulty or Damaged Items
Regardless of the above, EU customers (and all customers) retain full statutory rights where goods are:
- Faulty or defective
- Not as described
- Do not match what was agreed at the time of purchase
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at nelson@billetautomotivebuttons.com within a reasonable time of receipt and we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
Defective Item Returns
If a return is required for a defective item, please get in contact with me preferably by email at Nelson@billetautomotivebutton.com and we can help sort out a replacement.
Return shipping costs for defective items will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for any return.
